Marquette – Travel back in time on an historic slide show tour of Marquette in the early 1900s when Model As took to the streets and Dandelion Cottage by Carroll Watson Rankin was first published on Wednesday, June 27 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Jack Deo of Superior View will showcase photographs of Marquette in the early 1900s and provide a running commentary on little known aspects of local history. See the trolley car tracks running down the streets in the era when the first Model As were hitting the road and the County Courthouse and Peter White Public Library buildings were under construction.
