Marquette – The Cedar Tree Institute and its friends and collaborative partners are planting 10,000 Northern White Cedar trees across northern Michigan.
Seedlings will be distributed on Saturday, June 16 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Moosewood Nature Center in Marquette.
A suggested donation of $2 per tree will be accepted and directions will be given for appropriate planting sites and protocol.
