Northern Michigan – A report from Northern Initiatives for later April’s jobless rate performance. All 46 counties in the area that Northern Initiatives survey saw improvement. That is a rare occurrence for the 3 years that Northern Initiatives have been circulating these reports. Eighteen of the counties are now below 10%, and theoretically more improvement are expected as seasonal jobs continue to kick in.
On the Northern Initiatives closed ten loans in May totaling over $1M. The pipeline is looking very good for the year.
