Marquette – Shiloh Films, a local film ministry of Shiloh Baptist Church in Sands Township, will be releasing it’s newest film on Tuesday, June 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Kaufmann Auditorium.
This movie was filmed locally across the Upper Peninsula and is based on true historical events important to the shaping of early American history. It portrays the lives of men known as the known as the Regulators in North Carolina, who sought for peaceful coexistence, then eventually fought for liberty from an oppressive
British colonial governor. Their conflict culminated in a minor battle at Alamance Creek, North Carolina, which many historians attribute as the first armed conflict leading to the American Revolution.
Admission to the film is $5 per adult, children 12 and under are
