Ishpeming – Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library is sponsoring an art contest for youths age 12 to 18. Original drawings, paintings and photos can be submitted through Thursday, July 3.
The art will be displayed in the Teen Circle area and judged by library patrons. Winners will be announced at the end of August.
The library will also sponsor a shirt tie-dyeing activity on Wednesday, July 9 at 2 p.m. for ages 12 to 18. Deadline to preregister is Thursday, July 3.
