Marquette – The Northern Michigan University chapter of Nothing But Nets will sponsor the Nothing but Nets Fashion Show on Sunday, February 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the University Center Great Lakes Rooms. Admission is by donation.
The fashion show will feature everyday wear as well as formal and prom wear donated by local retailers. NMU and area high school students will model the clothing.
Nothing but Nets is a nonprofit organization founded by former Sports Illustrated and current ESPN magazine writer Rick Reilly. The organization's goal is to raise money to send insecticide-treated bed nets to Africa to help prevent the spread of malaria.
