Marquette – Volunteers of all ages are needed to help with planting in the 24th Annual Petunia Pandemonium on Saturday, June 2 beginning at 10 a.m. along South Front Street in Marquette.
Planting usually takes about one hour and is followed by a picnic lunch on the lawn of Family Wellness Chiropractic at about 11 a.m. Pizza, gourmet sandwiches, beverages and desserts will be served to all the volunteers.
During the planting, complimentary ice cream cones will be available for the planters at Beef-A-Roo Restaurant, which is next door to Family Wellness Chiropractic.
Volunteers can report to any flower bed on the west side of South Front Street from Hampton Street to Family Wellness Chiropractic. Flowers and assistance will be provided at each area. Participants are asked to bring a trowel, wear old clothes and shoes plus a hat and sunscreen if needed. Extra trowels will be available.
