MARQUETTE–The Marquette General Cancer Center will hold a celebration to honor National Cancer Survivor’s Day from Noon-3 p.m. on Sunday, June 3 in the West Lobby at Marquette General Hospital.
The celebration will begin at 12pm with a social gathering, with presentations following at 1 p.m. by Dr. Amy Weise, Marquette General medical oncologist, and cancer survivors. Following the presentations, a Burning Bush will be planted to commemorate the event and tours will be given of the Radiation Oncology department.
The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
