Iron Mountain, Michigan – October 12, 2015 – The VA Clinic in Marquette, Michigan, has scheduled free walk-in flu shot clinics to Veterans enrolled in the VA’s health care system.
The Marquette VA Clinic will offer the flu vaccinations Thursday and Friday, October 15 and 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (ET) each day. The clinic is located at 1414 West Fair Avenue, Suite 285.
No appointment is necessary. Veterans may also request the flu shot at their regularly scheduled doctor’s appointments.
In addition, the VA has expanded access for receiving vaccinations by partnering with Walgreens to provide flu shots to Veterans and having it entered directly into their VA medical record without filling out VA forms or carrying paper records. Walgreens accepts most insurance plans, including Medicare.
