Marquette – Learn on your lunch hour and broaden your understanding of schizophrenia on Tuesday, May 29 at noon in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
Karen Nelson, LMSW, a therapist with Marquette General Behavioral Health, will be the presenter. Schizophrenia is a complex mental disorder that makes it difficult to tell the difference between real and unreal experiences, think logically, have normal emotional responses, or behave normally in social situations.
Program attendees are welcome to bring their own lunch or buy from the library café. Beverages will be provided. There is no admission charge and no pre-registration is required.
This presentation is part of Your Mind Matters, a community dialog on mental health issues sponsored by a coalition of community groups and the Peter White Public Library.
