Marquette, MI – The Marquette General Health System Ore to Shore Mountain Bike Epic is sponsoring a t-shirt design contest for this year’s August 11th mountain bike race. Artwork is being solicited for this year’s participant t-shirt given out complimentary to all 28-mile soft rock, 48-mile hard rock and Shore Rock riders. The award prize is cash, expo booth space and copyright for the chosen graphic. Entry deadline is July 1.
The graphic should showcase the theme, date, 13th Annual highlight of Ore to Shore. The race begins in Negaunee where iron ore was first discovered in the Lake Superior region, travels past towering mine shafts, and ends at the Lake Superior shoreline, organizers are asking that the graphic incorporate this theme. Organizers expect 2500 riders for the Annual Ore to Shore Mountain Bike Epic.
