Town hall Meetings on Transportation in the Upper Peninsula

Are you tired of high gas prices? Is your vehicle’s front end out of alignment?Do you have a road or bridge you want fixed? Well you can do something about it! Join us and find out how and you may be the lucky winner of a prepaid $100 gas certificate or a prepaid certificate for a front end alignment.

Jim Shea representing Students Reinventing Michigan will hold open houses across the UP to discuss problems regarding Michigan’s roads, bridges and tax increases.

The economic impact of an under-funded infrastructure affects all of us. The UP has lost much needed construction and related jobs. An additional and alarming effect is that a poor infrastructure results in unnecessary loss of life, debilitating injuries and property damage.

Check Jim’s UP tour schedule and join him at one of the April 9-17 meetings. Bring neighbors and friends. Remember, at the end of each forum, there will be a drawing for the prepaid $100 gas certificate and the prepaid front end alignment certificate. You may be a lucky winner!

Good luck and we hope to see you soon.

The UPWard Initiative Infrastructure Committee is assisting with logistical support for the tour.
