Marquette – Ellen Airgood, author of “South of Superior” will pay a special visit to the Peter White Public Library on Tuesday, April 17 at 7 p.m. for an evening of first-rate storytelling; book sale and signing and question-and-answer session.
Airgood’s visit is part of the Library of Michigan’s 2012 “Michigan Notable Authors Tour.” She runs a small diner with her husband in Grand Marais, where she is both the waitress and the baker. She learned most of what she knows about story, as well as about charity and compassion, from waiting tables for 19 years, listening and watching the lives of all her regular customers, young and old. South of Superior is her first novel.
