Calendar – Education – Women’s History Month Presentation – Apr. 2

Marquette – Northern Michigan University will host several activities to celebrate Women’s History Month. Author Wayne Wiegand will present “The Woman’s Building Library at the World’s Fair” on Monday, April 2 at 7 p.m. in Mead Auditorium.

He will discuss the significance of the historic first effort to assemble a comprehensive library of women’s writings for the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair.

The event is free and open to the public.
