Ishpeming – The Friends of Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library will sponsor a holiday family fest on Saturday, December 6 at 9:30 a.m. at the library.
Activities will include a bake sale and sales of other items, including the latest edition of the Friends of the Library recipe book, 2009 historic Ishpeming calendars, boxed Bobbi Ameen note cards, and individual note cards featuring Tyyne Ostlund's “Impressions of Ishpeming.” Also available will be library tote bags and T-shirts.
The film “It's a Wonderful Life” will be shown at 10 a.m.; a drop-in card-making project will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and at 2 p.m. there will be a puppet show and a family holiday craft program.
