Marquette – The Lake Superior Art Association is accepting art work for the Glacier Glide 2012 Outdoor Art Exhibit to be held on Saturday, February 18 at Presque Isle Park in Marquette.
Adult works must be registered prior to the event. Youth entries may be registered the day of the event. There is no entry fee. All art work must be checked in at the pavilion between 9:30 and 11 a.m. the day of the event.
Artwork must be made by the exhibitor, with no entries being made from kits or commercial reproduction, and not shown at previous Glacier Glide Shows. All work in the adult (outdoor) division must be made to hold up to winter conditions. LSAA/Glacier Glide and the City of Marquette will not be responsible for works displayed and reserves the right to reject any work not deemed appropriate for family viewing.
Youth art will be displayed in the pavilion. Awards will be given in each division.
Entry forms can be picked up at the City of Marquette Arts and Culture Center, NMU Art Department, Superior View and the Oasis Gallery in Marquette, Gwinn/Sawyer Chamber of Commerce, Ishpeming/Negaunee Chamber of Commerce and Munising Chamber of Commerce.
