enchanted Marquette – “A Tribute to Enchanted Splendor,” the 10th Annual Victorian style Valentine’s tea, will be held on Saturday, February 4 from 1 to 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 120 N. Front Street, Marquette.
Display cases will feature authentic artifacts and reproductions of the Victorian era, including dolls, doll house furniture, carousel horses and high tea accessories.
Tea will be served with fine china, table linens, decorative brass and silver serving pieces, all highlighted by candlelight.
Also featured will be crystal, fine china, table linens, decorative brass, and silver serving pieces, all offset by candlelight. The menu will be presented by Chef Christopher Kibit.
Guests may bring historical keepsakes and are encouraged to wear authentic or reproduction fashion items representing the Victorian Era. Prizes will be awarded.
Donations will be accepted for the benefit of the orphaned children of St. Andrew’s in Nairobi, Kenya.
Parking will be available in the church lot across from the Bluff Street entrance.
