Negaunee – The Heikki Lunta Winterfest will be held on Saturday, January 21 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the shores of Teal Lake in Negaunee.
Weekend festivities include a fishing derby, annual meeting, bonfires, and fireworks.
The fishing derby will begin at 8 a.m. Advance tickets are $5 for adults and $1 for youth 12 and under. Tickets are available at Holiday Gas Station and Buck’s Party Store in Negaunee, Wilderness Sports and Holiday Gas Station in Ishpeming. Tickets will be available through Friday, January 20.
Bonfires will be held on the shores of Teal lake at 5 p.m. and the fireworks start at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
