Marquette – The Northern Michigan University Student Leader Fellowship Program, along with NMU student Meghan Connell, will sponsor a silent auction fundraiser for the Connor Ledene family on Wednesday, November 12 from 3 to 7 p.m. in the University Center Great Lakes Rooms.
Auction items include an autographed Green Bay Packers football, Wooden Nickel T-shirts, and gift certificates from Casualties Skate & Snow, Ground Zero, Salon Salon, Studio 519, Main Street Pizza, Down Wind Sports, Johnson's Sport Shop, Third Street Bagel and more.
Nine-year-old Connor Ledene of Twin Lakes, Wis., died October 18 from a brain tumor. Proceeds will help defray outstanding medical expenses.
