Gwinn – The Forsyth Township Historical Society will sponsor a talk by local columnist and author Ben Mukkala on Tuesday, November 11 at 7 p.m. at the Gwinn Clubhouse, 165 N. Maple Street.
Mukkala will discuss his careers as a pilot and writer and will focus on stories and life lessons found along the way, which were the source for many of his columns and books.
Mukkala'' free-lance columns are published in The Mining Journal, and he has written several books, the latest, “The Gift of Wings,” to be released soon.
