Marquette – In honor of Veterans Day, Marquette General Health System has invited several local Boy Scout troops to conduct a ceremonial flag-raising ceremony on Sunday, November 9 at 12:30 p.m. at the flagpoles next to the hospital's main entrance on College Avenue.
Twenty Boy Scouts of America ages 9-21 from Troop 302, Troop 309, Pack 321 and Venture Crew 356 will form a traditional color guard.
A bugler will play while the flag is escorted to the base of the flagpole. A ceremonial flag raising will follow.
