Houghton/Marquette – The NMU ROTC and MTU ROTC will conduct a game ball run for the NMU Vs. MTU football game on Saturday, November 12 starting at 12 a.m. with the MTU cadets at MTU’s football stadium in Houghton.
Cadets will make their way from Houghton to Baraga with the game ball for Saturday’s game. Meeting at the Baraga roadside park at 6 a.m., NMU Cadets will take the game ball the rest of the way to the Superior Dome in Marquette.
ROTC Cadets will run the game ball 2 to 3 miles per cadet. Altogether, NMU and MTU Cadets will run 100 miles; 50 per school.
Since 2003 NMU and MTU ROTC have been conducting the game ball run in support of the two football teams.
