Marquette – WAVE (Water Action Vital Earth) will host a Souper Supper Harvest Fest on Saturday, November 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church on the corner of Magnetic and Fourth Streets in Marquette.
There will be freshly made soups such as Nutmeg Squash, Pear and Parsnip, Chicken Noodle and many more along with homemade breads and pies. Pies of all kinds will be available for purchase to take home and enjoy, or freeze for the holidays.
Live music will be provided by Laura Nagel and Friends. There will also be local artwork for sale and a white elephant table.
Suggested donation for general public dinner tickets are $10, $8 for seniors and NMU students, and $5 for children under 8 years.
Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the work of WAVE, working to protect water resources as part of a sustainable future for the region.
