Negaunee – The Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter will host a Spin the Wheel adoption drive Saturday, July 23 from noon to 4 p.m. at the shelter, 84 Snowfield Road in Negaunee Township.
A 10 to 50 percent discount will be offered on all dog and cat adoptions, and potential adopters will have an opportunity to spin the wheel to win the chance to adopt any pet at no charge.
Pets designated as “Lonely Hearts” and pets age 8 and older will be available at no cost. Each adoption includes spay/neuter, vaccines, a bag of Dr. Tim’s food and more. UPAWS has a large variety of pets in need of loving homes.
