Marquette – An Evening with Dave and Pat Mair, civil rights activists, will be offered on Thursday, October 27 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.
The couple will respond to the subject matter of the Great Michigan Read book selection, “Arc of Justice: A Saga of Race, Civil Rights and Murder in the Jazz Age by Kevin Boyle” by speaking about their experiences in the struggle for civil rights while serving in Tennessee, Mississippi and Detroit.
