Marquette – The Marquette Turkey Trot 5K and 10K run/walk will be held on Thursday, November 24, beginning with registration from 8 to 8:40 a.m. at the Marquette Senior High School Canopy Entrance, Room 101. The event will begin at 9 a.m.
The entry fee is $10 per person (proceeds benefit the MSHS Orchestra); or add $15 for a total of $25 per person to include a T-shirt (shirt sales benefit MSHS’s Business Professionals of America).
The 1st overall male and female in the 5K and 10K will receive a trophy. Leashed dogs are welcome on the course, and a trophy will be presented at the finish line to the fastest overall dog in the 5K and also the 10K. Participants may drop off, if they wish, items for the TV6 Canathon canned food drive.
