Houghton – A benefit “All-Star” Hockey Game for Amy Roberts and Dennis Sten of Houghton will be held on Saturday, January 28 at 6:30 p.m. at the Houghton County Arena.
Amy was seriously injured when struck by a vehicle in December and Dennis was recently diagnosed with cancer. Proceeds from the hockey game will be split between the two.
The game will be separated into four periods, with two featuring players 45 and older, and two that will feature players 21 and older.
Players will come from all over Michigan, many former NMU and MTU players.
Admission is $5. Other fundraising activities will go on during the game including 50/50 raffles.
