Marquette – In appreciation for blues music, all are invited to a Bluesday Tuesday event on Tuesday, October 25 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library for a presentation entitled “Guitar, the Center of the Blues” featuring live music with blues trio Travis and The St. Lou’s.
The guitar has long been the center piece of any blues or rock trio. Marquette’s own Travis Swanson and his group the St. Lou’s will delve into the world of the three piece band and role the central role guitar plays in it.
There is no admission charge to attend the event which is co-sponsored by the Marquette Area Blues Society and the Peter White Public Library.
