Marquette – Marquette General Diabetes Education will hold a prediabetes class on Wednesday, October 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Lombardi Room at Marquette General Hospital.
The class is open to anyone diagnosed with prediabetes, borderline diabetes or impaired glucose tolerance.
Participants will learn what prediabetes is, how to prevent diabetes, nutrition and exercise tips, and goal setting.
Preregistration is required. $30 will be due at the start of the class to cover class materials. Family members may attend at no charge.
Additional classes will be held the fourth Wednesday of every month.
