Marquette – Award-winning filmmaker and editor Bette Cohen will participate in a screening and discussion of her film “The Spirit in Architecture: John Lautner” on Friday, September 30 at 7 p.m. in Room 165 of the Art and Design building at Northern Michigan University.
Cohen produced and directed “The Spirit in Architecture,” which portrays the life and work of Lautner, a Marquette native and NMU alumnus. She also serves as an advisory board member on the John Lautner Foundation.
The film is being shown in conjunction with the simultaneous exhibitions titled A Life in Architecture: John Lautner, on display at the NMU DeVos Art Museum and the Marquette Regional History Center. Visit www.nmu.edu/devos for the complete schedule of events.
