Marquette – The 3rd Annual People’s Law School will be offered on Wednesdays, beginning September 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. and run through October 26 at the U.S. Federal Courthouse, Courtroom 2nd Floor, 200 West Washington Street in Marquette.
The eight week program will analyze Michigan’s legal system and outline the rights and responsibilities of citizens. The People’s Law School will continue through October 26. Upper Peninsula attorneys will give presentations on such topics as elder law, family law, employment law, consumer law, medical marijuana issues and criminal sentencing.
