Marquette, Michigan – Chapter 850 of the Experimental Aircraft Association will hold a two-day Air Academy for young people 14 through 17 years of age.
The event begins on Thursday evening, September 8, from 6:00 – 8:30 p.m. at NMU’s Jacobetti Center with instruction in navigation, weather, and air-safety.
On Saturday, September 10, attendees will meet at Sawyer Airport to participate in an extended flight with a local pilot, tour the air-traffic control tower and visit aircraft maintenance facilities. Cost is $20.
