Marquette – In conjunction with the John Voelker Festival, the Upper Peninsula Children's Museum will offer activities related to the late Ishpeming author, judge and fisherman on Friday from noon to 4 p.m. at the Museum.
Activities will include an “Anatomy of a Mishap” scavenger hunt, fish hat crafts and fly-tying for all ages.
Jim Conklin of Trout Unlimited will demonstrate fly-tying, and older children may try it for themselves. Museum education coordinator Jim Edwards will help younger children make clothespin flies.
