TCovington – The fire history of the Baraga Plains area will be explored in a program set for Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Covington Multipurpose Building.
U.S. Forest Service researcher David Cleland will give information on the management of the Baraga Plains and also practical tips and techniques for reducing the impacts of wildfires for homeowners.
The program is sponsored by Michigan State University Extension in Baraga County, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and the Covington Volunteer Fire Department.
