Marquette – The Marquette County Quilters will meet on Wednesday, August 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Library.
The program will be “A Teddy Bear Evening” with Rae Warner, a former Marquette public schools art teacher, discussing the construction of teddy bears.
Members who bring a teddy bear quilt will help the group meet its goal of 100 teddy bears with an accompanying teddy bear quilt to place in baskets for children at Christmas.
Rules of order will be voted on during the business portion of the meeting. For more information, call 226-2345.
