Marquette– “It Happened One Night” will be shown on Monday, October 6 at 1:30 p.m. at Peter White Public Library as part of the Afternoon Classics Film Series.
Starring Clarke Gable and Claudette Colbert, this Academy Award-winning film premiered in 1934 and was the first movie to win all five major awards including best picture, director (for Frank Capra), actor, actress and screenplay. This light romantic comedy will be shown it its original black and white, and runs for 105 minutes.
