Ishpeming – AMVETS will sponsor its annual community picnic on Saturday, July 23 from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday at the AMVET Park, located 10 miles south of Ishpeming off of County Road 581.
There will be food, refreshments, live entertainment, bingo, supervised swimming, kids’ games, a dunk tank and a raffle. Admission is $1. Carry-ins will not be permitted. Bus transportation to and from the picnic will be available from MarqTran.
