MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette Township officials are planning a special day focusing on recent upgrades at one of the township’s most popular ballfields as well as other activities.
LeAnne Kachmarsky, chair of the Marquette Township Community Events Committee, joined Mark Evans and Walt Lindala this morning to discuss activites planned for Saturday, August 6th. The main focus of the event will be on the formal unveiling of renovations to Lions Field, but there will also be a National Noon and Night Out, community picnic, Texaco Country Showdown and more going on.
