Marquette/Ishpeming – The YMCA of Marquette County swim team will have a Swim-a-Thon on Saturday, September 27 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Marquette Senior High School and the Westwood High School pools.
Swimmers of all ages are welcome to participate and will earn money by swimming a maximum 200 lengths of the pool. Swimmers who raise a minimum of $50 will receive a T-shirt.
Proceeds will be used to support the YMCA's Rip Tide swim team and the Strong Kids Scholarship fund.
