Champion – The 55th Annual Champion Horse Pulling Mud Drags and Demo Derby will take place Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25 at the horse-pulling grounds in Champion.
Friday events are pony pulling at 6 p.m. and a dance from 8 p.m. to midnight with music by Shotgun Kelly.
Saturday events are mud drags at noon, demo derby at 5 p.m. and a dance from 8 p.m. to midnight with music by Kickback.
There will be a chicken barbecue on Saturday, pony rides, money scramble, and more. Food concessions will be available. No carry-ins allowed, please.
Admission is $6 for adults, $3 for seniors, and free for children 12 and under. The event is sponsored by the Champion/Humboldt Volunteer Fire Department and Miller Brewing.
