Marquette – The Marquette Food Co-op will offer an “All About Organics” class on Tuesday, September 23 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Marquette Arts and Culture Center at Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
Participants will learn about the nutritional differences between organic and conventional farming, and the meaning of terms such as free-range, GMO, r-BGH/hormone-free, whole foods and sustainable food production.
The class is free to co-op owners, with a requested donation of $3 for others.
