Munising – The Marquette Food Co-op will offer an “All About Organics” class on Thursday, September 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Mather Building in Munising.
Participants will learn about the nutritional differences between organic and conventional farming, and the meaning of terms such as free-range, GMO, r-BGH/hormone-free, whole foods and sustainable food production.
The class is free to co-op owners, with a requested donation of $3 for others.
