Negaunee – The U.P. Book Tour 2011 will feature a workshop with Phillip Sterling on Thursday, July 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and a workshop with Linda Nemec Foster from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Vista Theater in Negaunee.
An author get-together for food will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Tino’s Bar and Pizza for all authors and the public. This event will be followed by a panel discussion and book signing with four of the U.P.’s most successful writers, Tom Bissell, Steve Hamilton, Catie Rosemurgy, and John Smolens, hosted by Ron Riekki, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Vista Theater.
The tour features 60 plus writers, 50 plus events, 30 plus days and 20 plus U.P. cities, making it the largest literary event in the history of the U.P.
