2018 Sault Tribe Pow Wow and Summer Gathering – July 13

Sault Ste. Marie, MI – Exciting dance and drum competitions, handmade crafts, authentic food, and more await those attending this historic, social, and cultural event on the Sault Tribe Pow Wow Grounds in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Powwows, or celebrations, as they were called, were originally held in the spring to celebrate the new beginning of life. People participate in traditional dance and song, visit with family and friends, make new acquaintances and trade arts and crafts.
