L’Anse – The Baraga County Lake Trout Festival 1/2 Marathon, Pequaming Run/Walk and Family 5k will be held on Saturday, June 11 beginning at 9 a.m. in the L’Anse Waterfront Park.
Choose from the 1/2 Marathon, the 8 mile Pequaming run or walk, or the Family 5k. This scenic course runs along the beautiful Lake Superior shoreline. The road is paved with a thin dirt shoulder.
Online registration available at www.laketroutfestival.com through June 10. No race day registration will be offered. The cost for registration is $30 for adults and $15 for children 12 or younger.
Shuttle services to the 1/2 marathon and 8 mile starting point will be available from 7 a.m. to 8:20 a.m. from the L’Anse Waterfront Park. Races begin at 9 a.m. Chip timing and instant results provided by Superior Timing. Awards presented following the races at the L’Anse Waterfront Park.
