Marquette – The Marquette/Alger RICC will meet on Thursday, June 9 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Presque Isle Island Store Pavilion.
The Marquette/Alger RICC is a grassroots advocacy group for people with disabilities, friends, advocates and families funded by the Michigan Developmental Disabilities Council. They discuss disability issues in the community and use peer support to build advocacy skills.
This group meets monthly on the second Thursday of the month from 1 to 3pm. If you are interested in attending a meeting, feel free to call SAIL at 228-5744 for the location as it varies each month. Light snacks and refreshments are served.
