Marquette – MooseWood Nature Center in Marquette will host Hunting the Beasts of Presque Isle with Your Digital Camera for ages 8 to 13 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from June 14 to June 30 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Nature Center by the former Shiras Pool building at Presque Isle Park in Marquette.
Participants will explore the clues animals leave behind from the beach to the depths of the forest and learn about the animals they discover throughout the park. Learn how to photograph the insects, amphibians, birds and mammals of Presque Isle and the signs they make. During the last session students will make scrapbooks of their adventures and discoveries.
Those who do not own a digital camera may borrow one from MooseWood. Cost is $55 for members, $65 for others. Class is limited to 10 students.
