Calendar – Theater – Reader’s Theater – June 7

Marquette – The Peter White Public Library Readers Theater will meet for a reading of the play “Play it Again, Sam” by Woody Allen on Tuesday, June 7 at 7 p.m. in the Shiras Room of the library.

Originally performed in 1969 on Broadway, “Play it Again, Sam” is the story of neurotic movie critic Allan Felix who has just gotten divorced from his wife, Nancy, and is struggling to get his life back together.

The PWPL Readers Theater is a group of adults who are interested in drama and are willing and able to read a scripted role. They meet on the first Tuesday of each month to read plays for enjoyment. New members are always welcome. For more information, call 226-4318.
