Marquette – “Facial Vision” is on display at the Marquette Arts and Culture Center from Wednesday, September 3 through Saturday, September 27 at the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
The exhibit is a one-of-a-kind show for both sighted and non-sighted people.
Photographs by Suellen Hozman undergo a process to become two and three dimensional works that can be seen and touched.
The concept for the show arose from seeing blind and visually impaired people denied full access to public displays of art.
A public reception will be held in the gallery on Thursday, September 4 from 6 to 8 p.m. with the artist giving an informational talk at 7 p.m.
