Marquette – “Life at the Time of the Pirates” for children ages 7 to 12 will be offered on Friday, August 15 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Marquette County History Musuem on Front Street in Marquette.
Kids will learn about the hardships of life at sea, the types of treasures which were most valuable, and pirates on the Great Lakes.
Artifacts and maps will be available for examination, children will create a pirate souvenir and play pirate games.
